The Afro-Latino Education and Arts Collective (ALEAC) is seeking an experienced Part-Time Grant & Development Coordinator (Remote).
We are looking for someone with prior grant writing and nonprofit development experience who can help support our growing cultural, educational, and community initiatives.
This is NOT an entry-level training role. Candidates should already have experience supporting or submitting successful grant applications.
Position Details:
• Part-Time Independent Contractor
• Remote/Flexible Schedule
• Approx. 10–15 hours weekly
• Initial 90-day contract term with opportunity for extension
Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience successfully supporting or submitting grant applications
• Strong professional writing and communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Professional, responsive, and dependable communication
• Experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and shared cloud-based systems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Grant writing certification or nonprofit fundraising/development training is a plus
• Experience with arts, education, cultural equity, youth development, or community-based nonprofit organizations strongly preferred
• Experience with sponsorship development and donor relations preferred
